I’ve been very lucky having the mom of this special family as a teacher for both of my boys over the years which makes us long time friends. It really helped when it came to being comfortable capturing her family while 9 months pregnant!!!
The last time we did photos was at the shore so this session had a completely different look and feel. They showed up in a wardrobe photographers dream about and an energy to go along with!! I can’t get enough of editing the Brother and Sister photos and I like to think these two are best buds all the time… sharing secrets, stealing kisses on the cheek, and playing games. Well that is the side of their friendship I was able to capture so I am going with it!!!
Enjoy the sneak peek! I’ll be taking some time off since I have certainly popped myself and hope to welcome our newest addition in the next 2 weeks or so!
These first time clients were a joy to capture. We had more of the unseasonably warm fall weather we’ve been experiencing on the East Coast which made the day that much better. It’s wonderful when grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings, and cousins can all get together for a day like this. I learned a few new jokes and memories were made and captured for sure! Enjoy the sneak peek!
The leaves are starting to turn and this particular location is screaming Fall already with the gorgeous landscaping and leaves blowing by. It was extra special to meet up with this family over the weekend for their session being they are repeat clients. I just love seeing how children change and develop year after year. Little M (who is not so little anymore) and Little R were full of personality and are clearly not only brother and sister but best buds! We had a ton of fun and captured some fantastic moments! Enjoy..
Nichole and Walid chose the perfect day to bring their families together in celebration. They were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Beale Manor in Parkesburg Pennsylvania. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the estate with dancing under a large tent on the lawn to finish off the night. All of the details were so thoughtful and unique. It was important to the couple to support friends who were business owners when it came to vendor selection. The florals, cake, DJ and of course the photography to name a few were all provided by professionals they know and trust as friends and as vendors.
Their children along with nieces and nephews took on important roles throughout the day which really highlighted that this was not only a marriage but a blending of two families. Congratulations to the happy couple!! I loved working with you and getting to know your friends and family!
I had a blast with this family of three at the beach this past Saturday Morning. We started bright and early and their soon to be One Year Old was all smiles. If you can make it work a 7/7:30am session is great for children and the light on the beach is perfect! Mom wanted to use some photos for little R’s upcoming Birthday and she definitely had her sights set on incorporating the lifeguard stand and the life boat. We were even able to tie in some cousin shots at the end of the session when Mom’s Sister and her family joined for photos of there own! Enjoy the sneak peek!
Early morning sessions are so underrated… I spent Saturday morning just after sunrise with two sisters and their families on the beach in OC making memories. I’ll be doing separate sneak peeks being that I was able to spend time with each individual family and also bring the cousins and families together for a few group shots. The session lasted about an hour total as dictated by the little ones. By combining the sessions my clients not only saved a bit but also captured some photos Grandma will be thrilled with!!
This family of four braved the 20mph wind gusts with me this past Friday Night in Avalon. We did some safe shots on the boards before hitting the beach to capture more memories! Being a repeat client I can say that Mom always knows how to put together the perfect wardrobe for her session… I was taking notes since I will finally have a little girl to style come November. Enjoy the sneak peek!!
August is shaping up to be a very busy month at the beach. Part of this is due to the two extended family sessions that are on the books! It is such a great value when you are able to capture memories for Grandparents at the same time as individual Family Sessions. Clients commit about an hour and walk away with memories that last a lifetime!! These first time clients are friends and neighbors of mine on the Bay going back many years. So glad they decided to book a session this year!
This Jersey Shore Sunflower Field has been a favorite location of mine for the past 3 years. The owner of the property staggers patches of sunflowers so he has them blooming from late June – mid August. He is also very welcoming and provides a great experience for my clients. I couldn’t wait to spend the morning with this favorite brother sister pair! Enjoy the sneak peek
I know this very excited couple is counting down for their big day in August. The Bride to be and I already know each other very well and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the children on both sides of this relationship through photography earlier in the year. That being said an Engagement Session was a perfect opportunity for me to get to know the Groom a bit better and to have some time with just the couple to capture this special moment in time. We had a blast and I’m confident all of us are on the same page for the big day! West Chester was a great location to pull the vision together. The images speak for themselves with the modern, urban, romantic tones!
